Occasionally, there are circumstances where you need someone to give you that extra care. The Ohio County Health Department can be there to help! Here are a few examples of the care we have provided our residents for FREE:
- Elderly resident not feeling well and not sure why. We can check Blood Pressure or Glucose. (Not to be replaced with a true 911 emergency)
- Help administer eye drops after eye surgery.
- Cut or bite cleaned and bandaged.
- Tick removal and bite examined
- Ear problems (Check for infection or ear wax impaction)
- Clean and rebandage sutures.
- Check your home or a loved ones home for ways to prevent falls. (We will help provide grab bars, shower stickers, etc. to keep you or your loved one safe.)
